Plastic Solutions Australia (PSA) is a growing Australian business supplying innovative products to the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function, ensuring customer accounts are accurately maintained, payments are processed and outstanding debts are followed up.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function

• Process and allocate customer payments and receipts accurately

• Reconcile customer and bank accounts

• Monitor and follow up outstanding and overdue accounts

• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and short payments

• Manage customer account enquiries via phone and email

• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements

• Liaise with customers and the Sales Team regarding account queries

• Support continuous improvement and general finance administration

• Monitor credit applications and approval processes

• Prepare monthly debtors reports to management and sales

• Process cash sale customer payments

• Assist with End of Month processing and broader finance activities

• Assist with the broader finance team as required, particularly during busy periods and end-of-month processing

About You

You will be an organised and proactive finance professional with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience

• Experience with debtor and bank reconciliations

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisation and time management skills

• Good Microsoft Office and computer skills

• Netsuite experience highly desirable (training will be provide to the right applicant).

• Willingness to support the broader Finance Team during busy periods, including end-of-month processing
