We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bar Processing Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating within the Bar Processing area to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, on time, and to specification, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate within the Bar Processing area to meet daily production requirements

• Operate machinery including bandsaws and bending machines

• Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality and compliance

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment

• Identify and report hazards, risks, or safety concerns

• Work collaboratively with the team and communicate with the Leading Hand regarding production and material needs

• Record any machine or production issues that may impact output

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment

• Experience operating machinery (bandsaw, bending equipment preferred)

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
